PASSIVE HOUSE DESIGN CONSULTING

We integrate architecture, engineering and building science to assist building professionals with all phases of the design, construction, commissioning and certification of Passive House buildings.

PASSIVE HOUSE BUILDING CERTIFICATION

We adhere to a rigorous Quality Assurance review process to provide future owners with assurance that the building was designed, built, and commissioned in accordance with the Passive House standard. Our in-house Building Certifier, accredited by the Passive House Institute, assesses compliance to the Passive House standard at key stages of the project, from conceptual design to final certification.

PASSIVE HOUSE THERMAL BRIDGING ASSESSMENT

The Passive House standard recognizes the significant impact of thermal bridging on the space heating and cooling demands of a building, the durability of its envelope, and the health and comfort of its occupants. We provide thermal bridging modeling services and expert advice on how to design thermally optimized building junctions or components and lower the risk of surface condensation.

PASSIVE HOUSE TRAINING, COACHING, and MENTORING

MIZU Passive House Consulting values education and promotes the sharing and dissemination of Passive House knowledge. As accredited Passive House Trainers by the Passive House Institute, we offer various in-class and onsite training to builders and designers, as well as mentoring and coaching services to teams working on their first project or new building type.
